The upgrade of mechanical equipment at the hospital resulted in an increased loading on the basement slab in the carpark.
Vertitech Australia were engaged by the builder on the project, Built, to supply and install approximately 800 lineal metres of carbon fibre laminate strips to the underside of the slab, and 250 m2 of a reinforced concrete structural screed on the top of the slab.
