Beacon Cove Promenade Rehabilitation

The Challenge

Sustained exposure to the wind and sea had led to deterioration of concrete structure of this public asset.

The Solution

Vertitech Australia successfully completed the rehabilitation of the promenade with a range of remedial processes including:

• Hydrodemolition, for removal of defective concrete
• Epoxy injection crack repair
• Installation of galvanic anodes at repair sites
• Dry spraying of cementitious structural repair mortar
• Application of silane hydrophobic coating
